Description | This container was used to carry personal items, such as sirih pinang / betelnut and knives etc to the field, as is verified by the contents of this container. It was used mainly by men. This container consists of an base and a lid. A cord enabled the container to be carried on the shoulder. Upon opening the lid of this container the contents revealed included a knife and palm fibre woven sheath, together with a woven container of dried betelnut. The upper section of the base is incised with a geometric pattern. |
