Description | This type of cup was used to drink palm wine. The cup is made from one coconut shell to form the vessel which held the liquid. Another coconut shell was used to create the base, upon which the cup stands. A cord is attached, so that the cup could be hung when not in use. A geometric pattern has been incised into the rim of the cup as a decorative feature. |
