Description | This long implement is referred to a kai ledu, N and its pint is inserted into the centre of the wooden bowl as it takes form. The rotation and pressure of the kai ledu holds the bowl in place, the the point (known as the dead centre) as the bowl is spun on the lathe. Sr Adolfo said 'Kai ledu, N, tau ona ba bikan ai dulas (T)'. The kai ledu is placed onto the wooden bowl and spun. |
